“As first-time sellers, a military family with approaching orders, and two young kids my husband and I were initially intimidated by the process. Our to-do list was about as long as Game of Thrones, with just as many subplots. This was before we called Erin.
We got to an item on our list that said, “FIND COOL PERSON TO HELP US SELL THIS HOUSE WITHOUT CRYING IN THE SHOWER.” Luckily, we were put in touch with Erin and it was like magic happened.
Here’s how the magic went down – In addition to customer reviews and history, she seemed really cool and really knowledgeable. When meeting her the first time she didn’t talk down to us after telling her “we don’t have a clue about this whole process…”, in fact, she came prepared with a calming and professional demeanor, tons of reading material that answered every question we didn’t realize we had and spoke to us like we were buddies heading out for brunch. She will come across like your long-time bestie, and that’s such an added bonus.
Next, she is no BS. If Erin doesn’t know, she’ll tell you, “I don’t know, but I’ll have an answer for you shortly.” She is as prepared as any professional in the field can be for most questions and concerns. We had several wrenches thrown in our process and not once did Erin not have an answer. She was patient, kind and understanding when it was needed, she even gave our children books to make the move smoother and less stressful for them!
I can confidently say, if mechanics were half as courteous, as professional, as honest and responsive as Erin – I’d actually take my car for its regularly scheduled maintenance. She turned our GRRM’s into Cliff Notes that became less intimidating with every piece of advice she offered. Erin keeps things realistic (which means we had to drop our goal of making millions and settle for a little less) but optimistic at the same time, a skill I have no yet mastered.
In fact, when it came to marketing it wasn’t just good advice, it was all great advice. Our house went on the market two weeks after 2 others in our neighborhood and was under contract before both of them. If that is not a testament to her incredible marketing skills, I don’t know what is.
